In the DTC S mode (sport) the engine does not go into 6th gear unless you force it by shifting up manually. au contraire! Keep turning the throttle and as the vehicle reaches target rpm and speed, the DCT will shift into 6th. In sport 3 mode, it will take a very high (illegal) speed for this to happen.:grin2:
Given the popularity of automatic transmission in the Africa Twin range, both models will continue to be available with either a manual or a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The owner's manual lists 10W30 Jaso, API SG or better. But Honda seems to list that for a lot of bikes, including ones with regular gear boxes. And some apparently have more choices (e.g. 10W40) listed in the owners manual. 10W40 should give more choices in a Jaso MA oil.
