The owners manual page 322 says that the "Intelligent oil-life monitor" system will display a message when the oil needs to be changed. It also says that the system uses "several important factors in its calculations" which sounds pretty cool if you ask me. Use your 15mm wrench or socket and loosen the drain plug. Unscrew it by hand until oil starts dripping; it is almost out at that point. Keep your hand out of the way and continue unscrewing until it comes out and the oil starts to drain. While waiting for the oil to drain, preload your filter.
Answer to your question is don't just reset the warning , get the oil changed as it protects all the insides of the engine, and think about doing an interim oil change in 6 months time.
