The light you are showing (looks a bit like an engine block to me, not sure if its meant to) is a general engine malfunction warning according to the handbook, "go immediately to a ford dealer and get ripped off big bucks to have it reset".

12th June - further warning lights. (no EPS warning but engine light came on) carried out IDS diagnositcs, found code for fuel and engine torque and some from remote frequency A. Cleared codes and retested. All ok.
I am getting P0299 with Engine Malfunction, pretty reliably when I floor the accelerator. 1.8 TDCI Mk2 Focus Ford Year: 2006 Engine Management Light.

The engine management light hasn’t re-appeared since the solenoid was replaced, but the engine malfunction accompanied by limp mode now occurs on pretty much every journey. Sometimes as soon as I start up, sometimes 10 mins into the journey.

Wasn't actually an engine malfunction symbol that iluminated - the words came up on the LED in the centre of the instrument cluster. Got a diagnostic check carried out and one fault code appeared - 'P1204 Cylinder No.4 injector open/short circuit.'
